OCO Global are currently working with the World Bank’s Women Entrepreneurs Finance Initiative (WEFI) in Jordan. We will be delivering a training and coaching scheme to support women-led businesses in the eCommerce space – enabling them to scale up, build their technical knowledge, enter new markets and export via eCommerce.
The project aims to:
- Help women-led small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Jordan to increase their sales via eCommerce by creating learning products relating to eCommerce;
- Train a cohort of advisors in Jordan on this subject matter; and
- Support the advisors to deliver eCommerce coaching to women-led SMEs in Jordan.



We are calling for participants who want to become advisors and take part in a train-the-trainer course and subsequent SME coaching scheme.
We are looking for candidates located in Jordan, with some knowledge of eCommerce, retail, and selling online, who are motivated to train and coach small businesses on how to effectively use e-commerce. We particularly encourage females to apply for this scheme.
Successful candidates will receive 6 sessions of training from international and local experts to be able to provide advice to women-led SMEs up to the highest standards. The training will cover topics such as access to sales channels, using online payments, cross-border fulfilment, costs and digital marketing. Candidates will then deliver coaching to women-led SMEs over a period of 4-5 months on how to use eCommerce effectively and increase their online sales.

Participation in the programme will be free of charge, and if you complete the advisor training and support delivery to SMEs, you can expect to gain a range of benefits from the course, which will leave you in a strong position to provide professional advisory services to SMEs in your future career.
