Spring has most definitely sprung and it’s almost hard to believe that we are already in April. Next on the agenda in terms of upcoming events is very much the HANNOVER MESSE taking place from 25th -29th April in Germany. Once again OCO Global will be in attendance at the event meeting with a multitude of companies as we identify growth potential and provide guidance to companies at all stages of their internationalisation plans where that be as a first time exporter right through to a strategic FDI project into a new territory. HANNOVER MESSE is well regarded as one of the world’s most important industrial tradeshow and one of the key capital goods exhibition for companies to attend.
The show itself is hugely impressive based on the numbers alone. In 2015 the show organisers announced that in excess of 6500 companies exhibiting coming from across the world and accounting for 70 countries in total. The show drew in more than 220,000 visitors of which almost 1/3 were visiting from International markets making this a strategically significant opportunity to meet with customers, suppliers and potential partners from around the Globe. The 2016 show highlights the USA as its partner country following on from the excellent showing from India in 2015.

There will be a strong showing from US companies with almost 400 individual American companies in attendance and such is the prestige and significance of this event, the President of the United States Barack Obama will join German Chancellor Angela Merkel to open HANNOVER MESSE 2016.
