Helping New York State give its SMEs the same great export support EVERYWHERE

OCO, as the European representatives for Empire State Development, set a standard for export support that was not met by many of its other regional delivery partners.  This gave ESD a problem – How could companies be assured of the same quality of support whether they were interested in Spain, Saudi or South Korea?

Internally, the multitude of partners also posed another programme: contractor management and administration was eating away at its limited resources, reducing the time it could spend on its core business of engaging and supporting local SMEs, which was ultimately diminishing its ability to achieve its export growth objectives.

OCO proposed its global representation solution, doubling the markets where ESD had presence and guaranteeing its SMEs service any country they choose to enter.

On 1st October 2024,  ESD officially announced its new global delivery network powered by OCO.  In just 4 months we have delivered missions in the Caribbean and Arab Health Dubai and delivered over 100 EMAS in over 20 countries.  Every EMAS report is tailored to the individual but is consistent in appearance, content and quality.  The impact of this is increasing the confidence of companies to explore other markets, knowing they are in good hands.  This can only lead to growth in exports as well as satisfaction levels.
