Purpose of role
The jobholder will be responsible for growing and managing the performance of OCOs Investment division within the ME market. This will include planning and executing strategies to drive growth in the ME market, as well as maintain our strong existing client base. Objectives will include revenue growth, profitability, successful project delivery and the performance of the ME Invest team based mainly in Dubai.
Key Responsibilities
This role has a commercial, operational and delivery focus within Investment division in the ME.
Commercial
- Work with the Director to set the strategy
- Implement and oversee strategic initiatives
- Own and deliver the revenue & profitability targets
- Engage in business development and provide leadership on proposals
- Manage key client relationships
- Provide Thought Leadership & content to drive OCOs brand
Operational & Delivery
- Responsibility for the team performance and the successful delivery of projects
- Support team with client communication, project delivery and quality control
- Manage and coordinate team resources requirements in conjunction with other OCO offices and divisions
- Line management responsibilities, to include but not limited to performance management, recruitment, coaching and mentoring, training and development
- Project management and successful service delivery against targets and timelines in relation to strategic client contracts
- Cross division collaboration – work with other divisions in the business to encourage communications and cross-team working
Essential Criteria
- Third level degree or equivalent professional qualification in Business Studies, (other disciplines will be considered where candidates can demonstrate core skills required).
- Demonstrate 10 years’ experience of commercial & business development experience, or project management / consulting experience
- Experience in international trade and/ or foreign direct investment working with private sector and/ or government agencies
- Track record of managing project teams and client relationships
- Proven track record of achieving/ exceeding targets
- Proven experience of identifying and contributing to new business opportunities
- Strong business acumen with commercial focus
- Strong relationship management, negotiation and influencing skills
- Experience of interacting with professionals at all levels and within various functions
- Experience of developing effective working relationships internally and externally
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- Strong analytical skills
- Proven ability to prioritise workload under pressure to successful conclusion
- Willingness to travel
