Purpose of role
This position would be most suitable for University, Business School students seeking internship or professional experience (for 6 months) during their studies, for students who will be graduating end of 2023. The candidates should be fluent in French and English at least, another language is a plus. The candidate should have a strong interest in international business and must be open working within a multi-cultural environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Conducting desk research on different markets (Europe and outside of Europe)
- Analysing profiles of companies & screening
- Preparing and drafting company research reports
- Redaction of market reports, market studies, competition analysis, etc.
- Contacting stakeholders and companies and developing outreach strategies
- Coordination of meeting between French and foreign companies
- Supporting OCO consultants in meetings with companies’ directors and during events such as international tradeshows
- Maintain OCO’s databases and CRM tools
Essential criteria
- Students in Higher Level Education (Master, Grados, Bachelor) studying a Business, Economics, International Relations, Politics or related (other disciplines will be considered where candidates can demonstrate core skills required)
- Fluency in French and English essential, fluency in other languages is an advantage (Spanish, German, Italian, Dutch etc.)
- Basics knowledge of international economics
- Ability to locate key sources of information and to find key contacts
- Ability to process large volumes of data and ability to synthesise
- Excellent verbal communication skills, comfortable with cold calling (in several languages)
- Ability to draft clear, concise, and accurate reports based on thorough research
- Proficiency in Microsoft office programs, especially PowerPoint for presentations and reports and Excel for datas analysis
